It is becoming increasingly important for veterinarians to have a prominent voice in local and statewide government. Forging meaningful relationships is key to growing awareness of our profession and the challenges we face serving the residents of Florida.

The South Florida Veterinary Medical Association PC was established to help build those relationships by supporting individuals for elective office.  It is an indispensable tool in building support for issues of concern and for veterinarians becoming a resource of knowledge and information for those elected to represent us in Tallahassee and locally.

The South Florida Veterinary Medical Association PC is a Florida political committee whose mission is to identify and support those individuals for elective office who share our vision for the future of veterinary medicine. The political committee plays an important part in getting issues before decisionmakers in our communities.

Your participation is vital. By becoming a member of the political committee, you can add your voice to that of your colleagues who are working to broaden the veterinary community’s political sphere. Building grassroots connections with local leaders and supporting their efforts to strengthen our industry and our businesses is the role of our political committee.

Won’t you help us today by making a contribution to the South Florida Veterinary Medical Association PC? Contributions may be made in any amount from both individuals and businesses.
